James Bay keeps watch over&nbsp;an old-school high street video shop, where he reminisces about a past&nbsp;love, in&nbsp;Jake Jelicich's absorbing video for Alesso &amp; Marshmello's Chasing Stars.&nbsp;As Bay plays 90s and 00s VHS tapes&nbsp;on analogue TVs dotted around his cosy store, Jelicich switches between the warmth of&nbsp;the singer's performance and glitchy tape footage, replaying transitionary memories of time gone by. It works really well in creating a sentimental and nostalgic sensibility around the song.[imgtoken data:1]Then as light is revealed behind the VHS shelves, Bay eventually breaks free of the four walls of the store, and suddenly he is on a beach with his old love. It's all made possible by Jelicich and his team having custom-built the video store, with terrific attention to detail for memorabilia of the period, in a studio. Then they headed for Margate to shoot that crucial end sequence.With a winning performance from James Bay,&nbsp;the video fittingly pays homage to a wide array of 90s/00s films, including Empire Records,&nbsp;Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Interstellar&nbsp;and The Ring. Above all,&nbsp;Jelicich has paid homage to the late, lamented&nbsp;video store itself - and done a really splendid job.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Jake Jelicich has responded to&nbsp;Australian rock outfit DMA's take on vintage Britrock (and the ringing endorsement of Liam Gallagher) with a video with a real classic feel, exhibiting the director's qualities as DoP as well as director.Jelicich&nbsp;has placed the band among a group of&nbsp;mysterious black-clad figures positioned around architecturally striking locations in London (Anthony Gormley-style). Despite the setting, this is far from ominous. The monochrome-tinted video itself has a very tranquil feel to it, as the viewer drifts from one concrete-heavy panorama to another,&nbsp;accompanied by the lead singer's soothing vocals.This marks a visual departure for the band, who have commented: "We really liked Jake's previous videos and wanted to give him full creative control for Do I Need You Now?. He captured the mood of the song perfectly, and it was nice to just stand still for once."

Jake Jelicich collaborates with Dua Lipa for this incredible raw live performance with a cinematic flavour.Taking the massive Martin Garrix EDM track and reimagining it as a live&nbsp;orchestral piece, the performance has a stack of sonic texture, which Jelicich expertly complements by taking advantage of anamorphic lens flares, and beautiful film grain (courtesy of some wonderful cinematography by Rina Yang).The end result is a graceful and atmospheric piece in which both camera and performer melt in and out of the shadows.

The result is&nbsp;a promo that&#39;s a continuation from the&nbsp;previous black and white piece that earned itself a mini-cult following.Jarryd&nbsp;James says Give Me Something&nbsp;is&nbsp;about &quot;wanting someone more than they want you. It&#39;s about the futility of trying to analyze it all.&quot;&nbsp;And he is present in the video in a ghost-like way, recalling distant memories but never really present in the scene, just observing the beautiful girl in white, roaming an abandoned house in the desert.&nbsp;
