Tom Emmerson directs a thoroughly entertaining promo for AntsLive, with the London rapper performing his latest track from a surprising location - the Italian Alps.With the engaging style&nbsp;previously on show in Emmerson's UKMVA-nominated video for Tweakin, Ants tears it up across glorious mountainous vistas - riding on horseback, hanging out with the locals, including the goats, wooing the farmer's daughter, and&nbsp;hitching a ride on the side of a local fire engine - for Number One Candidate.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;The brilliantly surprising location for a&nbsp;grime track is a bold yet ingenious move, captured in vibrant cinematography on colour film by Isaac Eastgate.But Ants is always the star of the show, oozing cheeky personality and a sense of fun, even while sharing the screen with quite possibly the greatest goat of all time. Prosper Unger-Hamilton turns alt-J's trip to the skatepark into an acid-fuelled fever dream for U&amp;ME, the first release from the band's long-awaited fourth album.Inspired by '90s skate videos, Unger-Hamilton - brother of bandmember Gus - incorporates inspired use of visual effects into his lo-fi footage filmed at Romford skatepark, riffing&nbsp;on the classic&nbsp;paranoia of the stoned skater, both before and after a horrible faceplanting smash by singer&nbsp;Joe Newman.With gigantic bowls, towering ramps, incoming twisters and&nbsp;crumbling asphalt, Unger-Hamilton visualises some unspoken skater-fears in a mesmeric, dreamlike style&nbsp;reminiscent&nbsp;of early DANIELS and BRTHR videos.And as well as achieving that rarity of having alt-J themselves appearing in their own video, he even gets a murmur of lipsync in there too, from the facially-injured Newman.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Billie Marten takes an intrepid journey through wintry English countryside,&nbsp;in Joe Wheatley's haunting video for Creature Of Mine.&nbsp;Taking place somewhere between a conscious and unconscious world, we see the artist traverse a forest and jump into a small boat, sailing towards an unusual, bright green glow in the distance. But is it just a hallucinatory vision?Wheatley achieves a dreamlike&nbsp;atmosphere with echoes of&nbsp;Picnic At Hanging Rock -&nbsp;despite the difference in location and climate -&nbsp;with a combination of Billie's purposeful journey through woods and lake, her vintage costume and the cinematography by Isaac Eastgate, shooting&nbsp;on 35mm.&nbsp;“Joe and I wanted this video to represent that needless search for something other than what you have." Drawing inspiration from 90s nostalgia, Audrey Ellis Fox's video for ONR and Phantogram's Sarah Barthel is a cinematic portrayal of sunken romances, for the naggingly catchy Must Stop.&nbsp;With ONR (aka Scottish singer-songwriter Robert David Shields) in Manchester and Barthel in LA, Fox adopts a nouvelle vague aesthetic to tie their performances together,&nbsp;intercut with deeply contrasting, colour-saturated footage of the sometime objects of their affections. We get hints of storylines as we glimpse at these glamourous but dangerous exes, on a particular Saturday night.Ultimately the video becomes a collage of vignettes juxtaposed with the increasingly emotional turns by the performers. Nice work.

Felix Brady&#39;s video&nbsp;for disco-punk collective 10Lec6, is a singular, mindbending story of human obsession. In a dystopian future world, a sole worker is driven to extract apparently valuable beads of metal, for some mysterious, possibly spiritual purpose.It&#39;s wildly experimental, intense, visually engrossing and entirely in keeping with the deeply unconventional, swirling sounds of 10Lec6&#39;s track Ayong Ya Yop. It was shot over the course of several days in Kazakhstan - quite a challenge for Brady, who hadn&#39;t shot outside of the UK before. And the result is outstanding.
