They say nostalgia isn&rsquo;t what it used to be, but Busted are out to prove otherwise in their video for Nineties - directed by Rankin.The trio&nbsp;- that&#39;s James Bourne, Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis - take starring roles in a fun-filled flashback to the days of Top of the Pops, Blind Date, Nirvana, and the white-suited boy bands that Busted never were. And Rankin has fashioned this as a trip down memory lane that&#39;s every bit as big, bold, colourful and light-hearted as some of the pop-rock classic vids of the era (and drops in a cameo himself).Rankin says: &ldquo;This film is trying to get back to those amazing Joseph Khan videos of the late &lsquo;90s / early &lsquo;00s, where you don&rsquo;t over analyse what it&rsquo;s about or how it&rsquo;s been made. It&rsquo;s just fun and makes you feel good, in the same way the song makes you feel good. It&rsquo;s memorable and you want to watch it again and again to take it all in.&quot;What I loved about doing it was how many of the team in my office were fans of the band and wanted to be in the video. It was at that point I realised the video is for the fans and to really push for that. In my opinion, the best music videos accentuate a song and that&rsquo;s always what I want to do when making promos. Favourite Colour: Black&#39;s latest video for British singer Jasmine Thompson is a peaceful, nostalgic portrait of youth.Cutting between a sparse piano performance in an old, hazy function room and the more colourful elements of youthful hijinks, the promo depicts young people doing what young people do best: having fun. Exploring abandoned places, playing sports and hitting up the fair at night is all standard fare for the cast in this video, but the smiles on their faces seem melancholic when contrasted with the sad nostalgia of the track and the slow-motion pacing of the edit - as if trying to hang onto every moment for as long as possible.

Danish band Off Bloom dance with&nbsp;the locals in Morocco for their new video&nbsp;Falcon Eye, directed by Nadia Marquard Otzen.It&#39;s like watching a western pop video transposed into a new culture, with glimpses of Moroccan streets, dance styles and people. The video proposes&nbsp;an interesting style&nbsp;fusion, not unlike&nbsp;Major Lazer&#39;s Lean On video in&nbsp;its adoption of&nbsp;local dancing. And out of what Nadia describes as&nbsp;an off-the-cuff creative process has emerged a great pop video with all the trimmings, including girl posse attitude, pop and lock&nbsp;moves and surprising little moments thrown in.

Mixing VHS footage from the cult-founder in with modern day practices (bizarre rituals, outfits and custom a-plenty) are taken to the general public, who are completely baffled. A very comical look at how deeply unsuccessful a British equivalent of Heaven&#39;s Gate would be.
