Sinclair Bryant directs a striking&nbsp;promo for Australian-British singer-songwriter and producer Charlotte Plank, diving into a world of mannequins and frozen poses.&nbsp;Leading an all-female team of HoDs - including&nbsp;Chaimuki (DoP), Naomi Feld&nbsp;(set designer), Elle Fell (stylist), Shani Mushington&nbsp;(HMU) and Sidney Williams (editor) - Bryant's video for Candy Stores is&nbsp;an editorial-style vision blurring&nbsp;the line between the artificial and the real.[imgtoken data:1]As the track builds, the magical candy store comes to life, in a surrealist twist on suburban bliss, where the bright polish of a 1950's dreamscape gives way to a darker undercurrent. With&nbsp;Plank as both performer and observer of the phenomenon, the female mannequins begin to stir.The mannequins were cleverly portrayed by a cast of real people, made possible by the work of the hair and make-up team, who crafted striking looks. It's bold work, elevated by the cast's commitment to their characters and an inspired use of styling and makeup.&nbsp;

Yes,&nbsp;that&nbsp;Haircut 100 <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAy-RxquZPk" target="_blank">who were&nbsp;big in the early 1980s</a>, returning with their first single in 40 years.Bailey's video for The Unloving Plum has the aesthetic of the original&nbsp;Frankenstein&nbsp;- or perhaps Mel Brooks'&nbsp;Young Frankenstein&nbsp;- complete with vintage black and white cinematography and old school effects, as the band frontman&nbsp;Nick Hayward plays a&nbsp;mad scientist in the midst of a gruesome experiment.Ultimately it's an excellent performance piece for the band's catchy single -&nbsp;and the style and Frankenstein&nbsp; concept is rather appropriate for a band that has miraculously reanimated after four decades.&nbsp;Good to have them back - even if Nick Hayward looks in need of a&nbsp;haircut.[imgtoken data:1]
