Luke Casey &amp; Alex Leese's third video for&nbsp;Beabadoobee&nbsp;is a breezy, hazy performance video for Sunny Day.&nbsp;Exuding late summer&nbsp;vibes and a retro aesthetic, the video sees Bea jump from her floral-inspired bedroom into a fantasy garden just outside, full of stop-motion mushrooms, eccentric flora and a guitar-playing frog.&nbsp;It's a suitably nostalgic visual for a track that sounds like it's been pulled out of 2006 (or even 1996), and Bea radiates a relaxed, understated energy throughout.

Harry Barber directs an enthralling promo for Joe Unknown.&nbsp;"Joe came to me with the idea of burning this painting, which had some semblance of a journey finishing," says Barber. "And, as one journey ends, leaving behind a time and a body of memories both fond and bitter, a new one often starts."The promo is strikingly simple in concept, but contrasted against the tense atmosphere and rising screeches of sirens in the track, it becomes a powerful, gripping image.&nbsp;"We wanted to create something that had a beauty to it, but a contrasting chaos and anarchy brewing at the same time," continues Barber. "Something that felt reflective but energising. Something that pulls you in to that hypnotic state and then jolts you back out ready for pastures new."It's safe to say they've gone above and&nbsp;beyond their aspirations&nbsp;with this project.&nbsp;

Stella Belle Hex directs a punky retro-futuristic promo for Sophie and the Giants.&nbsp;Continuing to hone her surreal, tech-inspired style&nbsp;across the mediums of live action and animation, the video for Don't Ask Me To Change marries together early internet-era iconography with contemporary styling and effects.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]“I wrote this song at a time when I was at a crossroads and examining my relationships with people," explains Sophie Scott of SATG. "Every time I discovered something new about myself, I’d feel the compulsion to repress it slightly and minimize my true self to avoid being judged or losing people. I wrote Don’t Ask Me To Change&nbsp;when I finally decided 'f*** that'. Because if they really loved me, I wouldn’t have to make those compromises.”This sentiment is wonderfully visualised in the no-holds-barred performance, where Sophie boasts an assured, confident attitude and an unforgettable presence on screen.&nbsp;

Helman&#39;s ambitious four-part video for new artist shey baba reflects upon the ages of one man, his memories, transcending the past, and finding love.Shot in Kiev, with cinematography by James Laxton (who also shot Moonlight), Helman creates a powerful interconnected vehicle for Requiem, the LA singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist&#39;s debut album.In each part, Helman focusses on the individual at different ages of his life&nbsp;- he&#39;s a boy in Born Sick, a young man in Vertigo, the older man looking back in Requiem; and then we return to the young man, with his partner, for the uplifting I Want It All. Michel Gondry is back with the Chemical Brothers, this time teaming up with his brother Olivier to create this&nbsp;wonderfully entertaining, very funky video that takes inspiration from classic Seventies music show Soul Train, and gives it an unexpected twist.A group of happy and carefree dancers get their groove on in a black studio, creating a striking contrast with the colourful outfits.&nbsp;With the help of some subtle CGI, the dancers&rsquo; moves start to become more and more exaggerated. Bouncing hair and swooping legs soon turn into something much more abstract. The end result is unexpected and unnerving, as we discover not everything is as it seems.

Jax Jones and Years &amp; Years&#39; Olly Alexander have a candy-coloured party in miniature on a supermarket belt, in Oliver Jennings&#39; knockout video for Play.With Jax on the tills - which allows for a unmissable bit of product placement - there&#39;s Olly coming down the rubber belt with fruit, sweets and boxes of cereal - and dancers as a fruit or vegetable.&nbsp;Jax and Olly then get together on the treadmill to excel in their own synchonised dance routine, and then Jax on the tills scanning through a Mario-style go-cart through the checkout. Relentlessly and ridiculously fun visuals for this dance-pop smash.

Warren Fu&#39;s second video for The 1975 sees&nbsp;Matty Healy living out his worst live performance nightmares, which makes for a smartly entertaining visual for It&#39;s Not Living (If It&#39;s Not With You).First of all, Matty&#39;s clean-cut and wearing a suit. That can&#39;t be right for a start. And then when he&#39;s on stage, with his breezily jogging bandmates, a succession of&nbsp;surreal things start happening.&nbsp;The really clever bit is when the hugely distracted Matty leaves the stage, goes through a door and ends up on the set of his last Fu-directed video for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2018/11/23/1975-sincerity-scary-warren-fu/56222" target="_blank">Sincerity Is Scary</a>. A clever meta-textual touch.&nbsp;And with the original idea coming from Healy himself - even if its possibly inspired by Alice In Wonderland -&nbsp;is there a more&nbsp;creative&nbsp;pop star in the UK right now?&nbsp;

The 1975 'It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)' by Warren Fu 

The 1975's Matty Healy turns up the megawattage of his artfully ramshackle star quality in this major musical production number directed by Warren Fu for Sincerity Is Scary.It's the first of two music videos directed by Fu for the band's forthcoming album, and its a beautifully-constructed piece made on the lines of a Hollywood musical, from the backlot staging on a typical city street, to the supporting cast of chorus girls, dancers and marching bands. And it's certainly performed with sincerity - well, up to a point.Created in a number of long takes with mostly whip-pan to create an endless flow, Healy holds it all together with sleepy panache, and there's a nod to his obsession with Chaplinesque heroes - a little girl becomes the avatar of his silent movie character in old '75 vids. Very entertaining, not at all scary.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;“It’s been a real treat having brainstorming sessions with Matty Healy on ideas the past few months," says Warren Fu. "When it comes to music videos, it never ceases to amaze me when sketches on a whim materialise in person a few days later on set. There’s no better feeling.”

For his latest video, Not3s takes inspiration from an old music teacher that went overboard with the pressure on him, transports himself from the classroom to a plush mansion party with the likes of Stormzy and AJ Tracey.Just Fine&nbsp;is one of the highlights from the recent Take Not3s II, and gets the visuals it deserves here in Olver jennings&#39; splendid video.

MØ takes to life on the ocean wave, with Diplo and&nbsp;other pals, in David M Helman&#39;s video for Sun In Our Eyes.&nbsp;Helman&#39;s video&nbsp;takes a romantic idea - a group of friends sailing away to create their own perfect world on distant shores - and then grounds it in a more realistic dramatic setting, with the group being transported&nbsp;on a distinctly unromantic, working trawler.&nbsp;But there is also a sense of serenity, and the setting entirely suited to&nbsp;MØ&#39;s unfussy&nbsp;personality.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Sun In Our Eyes&nbsp;is a love song - it circles the subject of being unwilling to accept the truth,&quot; she says. &quot;You wanna keep riding the high even though you deep down know it might be wrong and that it&rsquo;s all a self-made illusion. This theme is what the video is inspired by, and it is also one of the subjects my forthcoming album Forever Neverland is dealing with.&quot;
