A robot vacuum cleaner goes walkabout in search of connection, in Aube Perrie's second video for Harry Styles.&nbsp;The video for Satellite is Perrie's follow-up to <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2022/10/31/harry-styles-music-sushi-restaurant-aube-perrie/79016" target="_blank">Music For A Sushi Restaurant</a>, where Harry played a captured Merman.&nbsp;This time, he hands over the spotlight, even as he is performing to thousands of&nbsp;fans on his current arena tour.&nbsp;Backstage, when a news report of the Mars Curiosity Rover appears on TV,&nbsp;the robot vacuum stops its routine business to take notice, and then takes on a life of its own.Soon we are with the little robot as it makes its determined way, out of the arena (we briefly see Harry out on stage) and into the big city, across dangerous highways, and into the surrounding country - just to get closer to that equally solitary robot on the TV. And he ends up, stargazing with none other than Mr Styles...&nbsp;This is a riveting fantasy of a quite a different type to the Sushi Restaurant video&nbsp;- warm-hearted, poignant, and probably influenced by&nbsp;several Pixar movies, including all the Toy Storys and, of course, the incredible Wall-E. But the fact is, it also looks like it was done mostly in-camera.&nbsp;Perrie gives it a beautiful visual aesthetic - and an irreverent twist -&nbsp;that sets this, and him apart from the crowd.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;[imgtoken data:2]

Dave Free and&nbsp;Kendrick Lamar direct a poignant performance promo for Count Me Out.&nbsp;We meet&nbsp;Kendrick by his piano, deep in thought until he is interrupted by his therapist - played by the inimitable Helen Mirren - who encourages him to continue his session.&nbsp;The video then splits off into a series of abstract vignettes, which each artistically interpret the lyrics into something photographic and emotionally stirring.&nbsp;The composition is also inspired, placing intimate shots of Mirren and Lamar on opposing sides of the frame, in the manner of a <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triptych" target="_blank">triptych in medieval art</a>,&nbsp;allowing viewers to take in the emotions from both sides, whilst experiencing the vignettes in the middle.Brilliant work, with a moving message.&nbsp;

Warren Fu channels epic Romantic art in his stunning, mesmeric&nbsp;video for Phoenix.The video for the iconic French rock band's Winter Solstice opens with vocalist Thomas Mars balancing on the edge of a cliff, performing under stormy skies - in the manner of a Caspar David Friedrich painting.Fu takes us through a series of related compositions from landscape&nbsp;to extreme close-up to accentuate the deeply reflective mood of the song and Mars's performance. It's been a long time coming, but it's been worth the wait. The first proper music video by Kendrick Lamar in ages comes with the burden of following the greatness that has preceded it. But this one... it's that rare moment when you sense something very special has happened. A culturally significant, transcendent work of visual Art.Yes, music videos can be Art. Easy to forget. Yet with The Heart Part 5, Kendrick Lamar and&nbsp;Dave Free - the old Little Homies team, now openly credited - have shown that there is the potential to harness the medium to elevate the message onto a new level. That should be incredibly inspiring - to musicians, filmmakers, and simply everyone who watches it.&nbsp;They have done so by using cutting edge VFX - the use of deepfake&nbsp;technology,&nbsp;created by Deep Voodoo, is fantastic. Kendrick transforms into a series of famous Black men - starting with&nbsp;OJ Simpson, moving on to&nbsp;Kanye, Nipsey Hustle, Kobe Bryant, Colin Kaepernick, Will Smith - visual portrayals that, in the case of Nipsey Hustle,&nbsp;are reflected in his words.We have seen some very good deepfakery&nbsp;before, mitigating against the absolute originality of the concept (and accusations of plagiarism have already started). But ultimately, it's all about the simplicity, the aesthetics, the timing, and above all, the spellbinding performance. Kendrick is so great in this. The occasionally imperfect lipsync makes it even better. And for good measure, he's rapping over&nbsp;Marvin Gaye's I Want You. Two masked invaders threaten the serenity of Mitski's Victorian garden, in Maegan Houang's&nbsp;otherworldly promo for Stay Soft.&nbsp;The dreamy concept introduces viewers to a luxurious fantasy world of rare plants and topiary, with the focus on a sweet but spooky Venus flytrap, who Mitski routinely feeds with a small drip of her blood.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;When two invaders snatch the artist from the garden, a mysterious string of vignettes depict the struggle to overcome them, transcending into a hazy dance scene and some brilliant silhouetted action scenes - resulting in two sacrifices to feed the&nbsp;flytrap.&nbsp;Wonderfully bizarre and beautiful, it's another fantastic collaboration between&nbsp;Houang and this intriguing artist&nbsp;(they also recently worked together on the video for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/11/26/mitski-only-heartbreaker-maegan-houang-jeff-desom/73983" target="_blank">The Only Heartbreaker</a>)&nbsp;that feels as editorial-esque as it does abstract.&nbsp;

BRTHR direct&nbsp;a&nbsp;ferociously glamorous video for&nbsp;Chemtrails Over the Country Club, the title track of Lana Del Rey's&nbsp;new album.&nbsp;The director duo - Alex Lee and Kyle Wightman - are well known for their hyperstylised aesthetic, full of vibrant colours, vintage effects and experimental camera movement. There's plenty of that here, but it never overwhelms the poignancy&nbsp;of the melancholic narrative.&nbsp;The concept features a group of women - Del Rey included - whose lives we view with the contrast of night and day; refined&nbsp;poolside elegance vs their primal, unleashed selves.The frenetic&nbsp;visuals aren't the most immediately obvious pairing to the artist's haunting soundscapes, but the risk has paid off - the resulting project is endlessly watchable and all-consuming in the best way.&nbsp;
