Maegan Houang weaves a compelling tale of interracial marriage in Fifties America, where the white husband of a devoted Chinese American wife is clearly up to no good.
Vagabon 'Water Me Down' by Maegan Houang
Vagabon dances her way through a scattering of ethereal concepts in the video for Water Me Down by Maegan Houang. Opening in a wash of blue hues, Vagabon is sat upon two dancer's feet, which twitch and move to the beat whilst she performs to camera.
This pattern continues as we move through vaporwave inspired art direction, a room packed ceiling to floor with various plants and a stripped back forest studio scene. It's a simple idea executed at the highest level. Vagabon is confident and tackles the choreography with ease, and the two dancers complement her perfectly.
