Two masked invaders threaten the serenity of Mitski's Victorian garden, in Maegan Houang's&nbsp;otherworldly promo for Stay Soft.&nbsp;The dreamy concept introduces viewers to a luxurious fantasy world of rare plants and topiary, with the focus on a sweet but spooky Venus flytrap, who Mitski routinely feeds with a small drip of her blood.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;When two invaders snatch the artist from the garden, a mysterious string of vignettes depict the struggle to overcome them, transcending into a hazy dance scene and some brilliant silhouetted action scenes - resulting in two sacrifices to feed the&nbsp;flytrap.&nbsp;Wonderfully bizarre and beautiful, it's another fantastic collaboration between&nbsp;Houang and this intriguing artist&nbsp;(they also recently worked together on the video for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/11/26/mitski-only-heartbreaker-maegan-houang-jeff-desom/73983" target="_blank">The Only Heartbreaker</a>)&nbsp;that feels as editorial-esque as it does abstract.&nbsp;

Hana Vu undergoes a cathartic breakdown at a family event - and no-one notices - in&nbsp;Maegan Houang's promo for Keeper.&nbsp;Evoking an eerie, 90s-esque atmosphere in its enigmatic aesthetic, the video is shot all in one-take, and features haunting interpretive dance and brilliant performance across the board.&nbsp;Vu's performance in particular jumps between impassioned and expressionless, representing the rollercoaster of emotions in her head, and the almost surreal scenario she finds herself in.&nbsp;Absolutely mesmerising work, which feels reminiscent of cult films like&nbsp;Donnie Darko.&nbsp;

Vagabon battles the elements in Maegan Houang's wistful vision&nbsp;for&nbsp;In A Bind.&nbsp;The video takes place in a dilapidated house, where the walls are crumbling and nature has started to take over. Vagabon battles a series of obstacles, as earthquakes rumble underneath and the room begins to flood.&nbsp; The artist remains poised throughout, weathering the storm and the emotions that are attached to it.&nbsp;Featuring beautiful art direction and striking cinematography, the poignant video mirrors the&nbsp;vibe of the track, exploring a transcendent space through the use of abstract imagery.&nbsp;Autumn Randolph's styling is also inspired, transforming from a black draped suit to an angelic white dress over the course of the visual, which is very much open to interpretation.The makeup work - from MUAs Erin Pea and Fesa - is also standout, switching from blended hot pink eyeshadow to beaded eyebrows, through to a vibrant blue, echoing the experimental nature of the concept.&nbsp;

Opening in a wash of blue hues, Vagabon is sat upon two dancer's feet, which twitch and move to the beat whilst she performs to camera.This pattern continues as we move through vaporwave inspired art direction, a room packed ceiling to floor with various plants and a stripped back forest studio scene. It's a simple idea executed at the highest level. Vagabon is confident and tackles the choreography with ease, and the two dancers&nbsp;complement her perfectly.&nbsp;&nbsp;
