Directed by Paul Dugdale, this was streamed live-to-air on YouTube on the morning of November 21st.And then... Dugdale filmed the band performing the second half of the album at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wysCoAm2Yo&amp;feature=emb_rel_pause" target="_blank">sunset on the same day</a>.Shot with the band, and additional musicians, performing in the round, Dugdale gets to the heart of Coldplay as a performing outfit and at the same time opens up the whole of their new album to their adoring fanbase. And for this&nbsp;trilogy, he had&nbsp;the less-than-enviable task of shooting three videos in one day with a distinct look and character. Thankfully, this Barbican series is proving to be an education in economy and simplicity, and a testament to Virdi's talented crew.The character of each piece in this song cycle corresponds to a time-of-day, and in this installment, Connor Coolbear's grade shines in particular.&nbsp;The look and atmosphere of sunset are so palpable, you could be forgiven for assuming the crew&nbsp;had simply opened the blinds.

Having done the stills campaign for Tiffany Page's debut album, Lawrence Watson was asked to submit ideas for her next video. The result is a very photographic performance shot at the Four Aces in Palmdale - an hour out of LA, specifically created for film and stills shoots - and a video completely shot on Bolex and Super16mm. Just like in olden days - and it looks gorgeous.
"With a brief for an Americana flavour it only seemed natural to combine the look and feel of two of my favourite films - Paris, Texas and Badlands to create Tiffany's very own road trip," Lawrence explains. "It was also really exciting as I've also wanted to shoot something with that feel and it fitted perfectly".
"The challenge was to find the perfect location, and using some of our LA contacts the resounding response was the Four Aces, as the best spot with it's variety of classic Americana locations and desert surroundings," says Stuart Watson, Lawrence's producer and editor. "Starting at dawn to catch the light and trying to avoid the local snakes, the shoot went well with us even managing to get a free wet down from the local fire station. With everyone happy with the finished results, the promo went up on Youtube last week to a massive response - 75,000 hits in three days."
Meanwhile, Lawrence's new photographic exhibition, A Box of Prints, showcasing some of his iconic images of Paul Weller, has just opened at the <a href="http://www.royalalberthall.com/press/pressreleases/release.aspxid=12056" target="_blank">Royal Albert Hall</a> and runs until June 3.

Coldplay called on Dougal Wilson to make them a lighthearted video for Life In Technicolour II featuring themselves in puppet form.Apparently Dougal hesitated to go down the well-trodden puppet route he&#39;s been down himself before - most successfully for Dizzy Rascal - until he hit upon the hitherto unexploited possibilities in Punch &amp; Judy.So Coldplay bring their Brit-nominated live show to the Heswall Village Fete during a break in the kids&#39; Punch &amp; Judy show - including roadies, stacks of Marshalls, lights, video and fireworks. To widespread dumbfounded shock, and the vicar&#39;s evident horror.Beautifully done, the attention to detail is typically superb - it&#39;s all there in the &#39;board (right) of course - and Dougal worked with many of the puppet crew from <a href="http://uk.youtube.com/watchv=2AAhc4auA7A">Dizzy&#39;s Dream vid</a>. And it&#39;s kind of reassuring that this global act have held their egos sufficiently in check to have fun at their own expense.They know it&#39;s a joke, right...
