The song demanded it, so&nbsp;Ben Falk, Kano and their DoP Tom Turley travelled the length and breadth&nbsp;of his home country&nbsp;on a five-day, 1000-plus mile road trip,&nbsp;to&nbsp;bring Kano&#39;s rich portrait that is This Is England to vibrant life.From Land&#39;s End to Hadrian&#39;s Wall &ndash; via&nbsp;East London, Cheddar&nbsp;Gorge,&nbsp;Liverpool,&nbsp;Blackpool and Newcastle &ndash; the video sets Kano&#39;s&nbsp;impassioned performance in England as he sees it: the pubs, arcades, raves, trailer parks, caffs,&nbsp;sea shores, tea houses, football pitches, dog races, graffiti, train journeys, and much more.Then editor Ryan Beck had the challenging task of turning the documentary footage into a music video, and has done an excellent job.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Shot on location at the Crumlin Road Prison in Belfast, Lucy Tcherniak contrasts very poignantly Hudson Taylor&#39;s acoustic ballad Weapons, with the brutal reality of life as an inmate.&nbsp;Starring Liam McMahon and a cast of locals playing the other prisoners&nbsp;and screws, producer Ben Falk explains:&quot;Lucy cast Liam after seeing his performance in Steve McQueen&#39;s &#39;Hunger&#39;, and quickly discovered there was no challenge she could throw at him that he wouldn&#39;t rise to.&quot;They worked very closely on developing the narrative, under continued consultation with ex-offenders Michael Diamond (playing Liam&#39;s cellmate) and Kieran King (playing the lead screw) whose input was invaluable in creating something authentic, basing many of the scenes on their real life experiences.&quot;

You may remember Moones&#39; superb video for their song Better Energy last year &ndash; an insane melange of animation styles supervised by Peter Sluszka, and a nominee at the 2012 MVAs.&nbsp;And you will now marvel in a very different way at this new video by Ben Falk for the same track, the title of which is more explanatory than you might think. The band really do get Drunk In Session.But rather than just showing&nbsp;Moones&nbsp;getting progressively more inebriated&nbsp;as they perform the song, an interactive element allows the viewer to cut the video themselves in two ways -&nbsp;between cameras covering a take,&nbsp;and between takes as the band go up the scale of pissedness - from 0 to 80 beers. And this is achieved with the ingenious but easy-to-use method of YouTube annotations.So this is ingenious, insane &ndash; and genuinely experimental. Check for yourself the effect of multiple brewskis on a bunch of guys playing music (Moones are basically&nbsp;cooking on about 40 beers; not surprisingly all over the shop on 80).Could definitely&nbsp;catch on. Love to see Radiohead do this... &nbsp;

Italian director Maurizio Zappettini&rsquo;s video for electro-rock outfit Bazooka is an atmospheric affair with a classic Brit-film look, partly filmed (aptly enough) at an old school.Maurizio was inspired by videos from the &#39;90s - it&#39;s shot on good old Super 16mm, by Joe Dyer - and it also saves the best till last. This has a genuinely scary monster. Yikes.
