Henry Scholfield directs a hypnotic, VFX-heavy extravaganza for Ed Sheeran featuring Lil Baby.&nbsp;The video for 2step shows Sheeran walking down an empty street in Kyiv, as the surrounding characters and environment&nbsp;start to vanish into thin air. This eventually builds&nbsp;to a sensational dance set-piece, and a mind-bending trip through warped cityscapes and slick choreography - which Sheeran enthusiastically dives into himself&nbsp;too, together with co-star Lil Baby.&nbsp;The project&nbsp;opens with a title card with a message from Ed Sheeran explaining that the video was shot in Kyiv before the Russian invasion&nbsp;of Ukraine two months ago, and that profits from the video streaming are going directly to DEC's Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.&nbsp;

Ian Pons Jewell presents another grotesque delight. A cocaine bender takes a horrifying left turn in this body horror for Beardyman.In the cold light of morning, a man is locked in a race against his comedown. He’ll do anything for a little dopamine, truffling for more drugs in every corner of his dirty apartment. And when it all catches up with him, he has the mother of all hallucinations. This day of excess is narrated, blow-for-blow, by Joe Rogan - in words borrowed from legendary journalist Hunter S. Thompson. The rabid protagonist is played with tense-jawed, red-eyed enthusiasm by Jack Morris. And the nightmarish VFX, reminiscent of cult channel <a href="https://www.instagram.com/cool3dworld/">Cool 3D World</a>, were supervised by ETC.<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/interviews/questionnaire-ian-pons-jewell/30545">Ian Pons Jewell</a> has a unique flair for affect and world building. He puts you through all the unpleasant sensations his characters experience. The texture of his bizarre worlds is so tangible and specific, it is as if you can actually smell it. His last video, <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2019/09/05/james-massiah-natural-born-killers-ride-me-ian-pons-jewell/60588">Natural Born Killers</a>, was a sweltering, end-of-the-world epic. Watching his evocation of wet, acrid heat, you’ll begin to feel your own sweaty, crawling discomfort.

Swedish singer songwriter Zara Larsson&#39;s Don&#39;t Let Me Be Yours&nbsp;has been paired with cool, uplifting visuals by&nbsp;Daniel Kaufman.&nbsp;Taking the form of a performance video, it&nbsp;also follows a&nbsp;loose narrative of a teenage&nbsp;racecar driver, reflecting back upon afternoons of car repair with&nbsp;her dad. The clip is very watchable, with&nbsp;plenty of spins,&nbsp;high-speed action, and a&nbsp;bashed up car caught on fire&nbsp;at the end, but more than just entertaining it also manages to emanate a strong nostalgic&nbsp;mood that works perfectly alongside the track.&nbsp;

Tinie Tempah and director Craig Moore have teamed up again, heading over to the Caribbean&nbsp;to shoot&nbsp;this fun, scenic&nbsp;video&nbsp;for&nbsp;Mamacita, featuring the up-and-coming Wizkid.Shot in the Dominican Republic, Tinie tries on&nbsp;a bit of Latin&nbsp;flavour as he rides through the barrios in a&nbsp;Mustang -&nbsp;serenading all the beautiful women while&nbsp;collecting bags of cash from them.&nbsp;But by the end of the video, it appears the glitz and glamour of&nbsp;drug cartel life might have been too good to be true.&nbsp;Craig manages to integrate a number of engaging performances into the cartel narrative, resulting in an entertaining, nicely paced&nbsp;and beautifully shot&nbsp;video.&nbsp;

An impressively&nbsp;cinematic clip for Danish band Phlake for their song Pregnant&nbsp;starts with the tension of a bank robbery, and then flashes back to&nbsp;the same man behind the motorcycle helmet,&nbsp;working as a cook at a diner, then meeting and falling for a newly-employed waitress.After a steamy romance, the pair move in together and the waitress falls pregnant, and the pressures begin - especially as it coincides with him being laid off work. Which then brings us back to the bank robbery which starts the video... &nbsp;

What a feat! Frank Borin&#39;s music video for The Script&#39;s Man On A Wire essentially accepts the challenge offered by the name of the song, and turns it into reality. And although the idea of placing the talent on a real tightrope, suspended over 100 ft above the streets of Cape Town, seems too far-fetched, too dangerous, and too terrifying to be seriously considered, that is what Frank and his team have done here.Singer Danny O&#39;Donoghue really is on that tightrope, while drummer Glen Power has his back to a hundred-plus foot drop, while guitarist Mark Sheehan&nbsp;stands on&nbsp;the side of a building.&nbsp;Working alongside&nbsp;FAMILIA in the UK and Farm Films in South Africa to realise the vision, the treatment evolved into&nbsp;an epic shoot involving helicopters, technocranes and wirework.Obviously it was completely safe, but you have to say The Script are a brave bunch (or possibly mad) for even considering doing this stuff. Hats off and big respect to all concerned...&nbsp;&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]

Paul Gore&#39;s second video for Paloma Faith - in a three-part series for Paloma&#39;s album A Perfect Contradiction - is more focussed than his previous multi-narrative effort for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2014/01/17/paloma-faith-cant-rely-you-paul-gore" target="_blank">Can&#39;t Rely On You</a>, and more powerful. In fact,&nbsp;this is a tremendous&nbsp;pop promo.&nbsp;Shot by Dan Landin, a DoP who began his career shooting some of the best music videos in the 1990s, Only Love Can Hurt Like This looks stunning from the start. The performance and dramatic set-ups are beautifully composed - but then it just gets better.When Paloma plunges into the pool, prepare for no ordinary underwater sequence. Her passionate performance continues unabated. The effect is gobsmacking, and the video enters its epic phase. It feels even more&nbsp;like a pop promo production of the old school - helmed superbly by Paul Gore, a director with the talent and experience to make it happen.&nbsp;When you see videos like this, you realise what we&#39;ve been missing.&nbsp;&nbsp;

We looked at Pasolini and Matthew Barney for inspiration.&quot;Paul&#39;s concept explored&nbsp;Paloma&nbsp;in relationships with five different men, not necessarily all romantic: The Surgeon, The Lover, The Stable Boy, The Chauffeur and The Leader.
