Nadia Lee Cohen&#39;s video for Elli Ingram takes your typical British greasy spoon&nbsp;and gives it a twist.The static stock characters, with some rather eccentric additions, take on a waxwork quality while taking it in turns to sing lines of the song that are applicable to their day to day lives and relationships. From grans with rightwing tabloids and overworked waitresses, to the less common sight of female bodybuilders still in workout costume, it&#39;s an almost-frozen moment that acts as a window into each of the character&#39;s lives.

Not Always is North London teenager Ama Lou&#39;s second release, with an engaging&nbsp;video by Danny McGuire that explores&nbsp;ideas of gender roles and shifting identities.We follow the progress of Ama and a boy in their swapped roles, mainly on a night on the town&nbsp;- well, Stoke Newington.&nbsp;Ama came up with the concept and it&#39;s deftly directed by McGuire &ndash;&nbsp;with Ed Munro as her cross-dressing, gender-bending&nbsp;counterpart.It&#39;s also something&nbsp;of a family affair behind the camera. Ama&#39;s&nbsp;DoP sister Mahalia John, and makeup artist mother Kate John both worked on the video.&nbsp;

The video is a narrative about a couple (played by Iain De Caestecker and Ophelia Lovibond) who hit a rocky patch, while out for a country drive - with Gabrielle as the observer of a tricky situation where one person is demonstrating a lot more affection than the other.&quot;We wanted to make this video a natural progression from the previous video for Home,&quot; says Joshua. &quot;It was evident that Please Don&#39;t Say You Love Me has a strong narrative dialogue built into the song and so we felt a narrative approach was key to creating a video that complemented it.&quot;Other than writing the script itself, casting was the most important element of bringing it to life. We were honoured that Iain De Caestecker and Ophelia Lovibond liked the script and song enough to come on board and from there it all fell into place. Both Iain and Ophelia brought the honesty and subtlety to their characters that I felt was necessary to make the relationship relatable and believable.&quot;
