Polish-German director Aldona Kwiatowski makes a notable music video debut for this track from Elderbrook's debut album. It's a story of a brief encounter, featuring&nbsp;Charly Clive and Tamica Thompson.The video for Numb&nbsp;explores the introspectiveness of feeling alone,&nbsp;and the delight of friendship - which turns out to&nbsp;be fleeting, or at least temporary.Clive's character is distinctly alone,&nbsp;as she prepares for a night out, and then walks through the streets of Shoreditch. But then something happens when she connects with another woman, and develops a non-verbal bond, through dance. It's a charming device to demonstrate the growing&nbsp;chemistry between them, delicately handled by&nbsp;Kwiatowski.&nbsp;And there is room to explore the possible history of the relationship, which has a poignant ending.&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;

Since the <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2017/09/20/yael-naim-coward-paul-luc-martin" target="_blank">delightful video for Yael Naim</a>, Paul Van Haver has confidently progressed as a director with partners Luc Junior Tam and Martin Scali - a concurrent career for Van Haver to his hugely successful one in music as Stromae. And now he&#39;s on both sides of the camera for the first time, for Stromae&#39;s team-up with French rapper Orelsan.The result is a very cool, entertaining VFX-enhanced performance video for La Pluie, that sees the partners in a number of eyecatching&nbsp;scenarios from a flooded supermarket aisle&nbsp;to a bus stop packed with people like a can of sardines, the back of a drifting boy racer to walking on the tops of umbrellas.It&#39;s a video that channels an old school hop hop video style&nbsp;and gives it a distinctly European feel. And it&#39;s very good to see the super-talented Stromae on camera again.

Aitor Throup and Sing J Lee have co-directed a wacky, masterfully executed live video for Kasabian&#39;s Are You Looking For Action?, harnessing the energy of live performance in a&nbsp;clip that was shot&nbsp;in Bethnal Green Working Men&#39;s Club&nbsp;in one continuous take on May 9th, and streamed live as it was shot on Facebook.Having worked together previously on a global ad campaign, this is the first time Throup and Lee have co-directed&nbsp;a music video. Throup&rsquo;s conceptual approach to portraiture&nbsp;and Lee&rsquo;s specialism in crafting surreal narrative themes, allowed them to capture the video&#39;s&nbsp;lucid dream&nbsp;aesthetic.The eight-minute-long sequence mainly follows guitarist/vocalist Sergio Pizzorno and vocalist Tom Meighan as they move around what can only be describes as a Halloween themed club&nbsp;night.&nbsp;All sorts of great and bizarre occurrences unfold,&nbsp;including&nbsp;a king and queen&#39;s card game dispute and saxophone solo interlude...&nbsp;

Holly Blakey suspends Mabel 20 feet off the floor in the intimate performance video for Bedroom.Mabel, complete with all-girl entourage, performs on a giant bed suspended high above a studio floor whilst being soaked in a purple-blue light. The dance clip is both intimate and surreal, with an awesome mix of light design, costume and choreography bringing the mid-air bedroom to life.

Davis Silis, take a bow. This perfectly choreographed fight sequence with a twist manages to accomplish a hell of a lot in a confined space.An empty carriage on a Victoria Line underground, two men in the throes of a brawl that could have been lifted straight from any action/thriller. Silis knows this and uses it to play with the form of the trope, and how it contrasts with the themes of the song. Asking the question &quot;why do we hurt the ones we love?&quot; without providing a clear-cut answer, the video takes some unexpected twists and turns without ever leaving the carriage.The video is made even more impressive when you know that one of the fighters (Formation&#39;s Will Riston) actually dislocated his arm very early in the shoot, and still pulled out a pretty fantastic performance.

London Grammar and Bison brought a showstopper to the table over the seasonal break with Rooting For You.Shot on 35mm and lit from above entirely with helium lights, this gorgeous live video is an exercise in minimal one-take perfection. The first half of the track sees singer Hannah Reid stand alone in a wash of darkness as the camera floats around her acapella performance, before light fills the room and reveals a full orchestral backing.A nuanced set of camera movements and understated lighting design help to accentuate the scale and the intimacy of various parts of this haunting performance.

Deviating ever so slightly from our usual fare, but just in time for Halloween, Remi Weekes takes a break from directing duo Tell No One to&nbsp;presents his short film Tickle Monster, commissioned by Film 4.This short film&nbsp;sees an aspiring grime MC hanging out at his girlfriend&#39;s house, only for her to reveal that she shares her room with the Tickle Monster. The ensuing chaos that unfolds is equal parts funny&nbsp;and uncomfortable. Which I suppose is just like being tickled.Great pacing by Weekes is matched by some excellently creepy, voyeuristic cinematography which makes the single-room short feel incredibly claustrophobic. And when it comes to shocks, it fully delivers.

Featuring vocals from Jorja Smith and a killer verse from Dre Island, the video shows youth frozen in time, powerless against the external forces that run their&nbsp;world.The video appears to favour a realistic, pessimistic position towards the maintenance of the&nbsp;status quo rather than a&nbsp;hopeful promise of change. Claustrophobic shots&nbsp;captures&nbsp;Jorja Smith walking through dark, narrow hallways -&nbsp;communicating&nbsp;a sense of emprisonment - leading to a hopeless, full-on blowout between the people and a fortress of police.&nbsp;
