Rapper Keynes Woods tussles with his alter-ego, and the strange goings-on in a deserted factory, in Luke Tierney's impressive video for Tim Burt, from his EP Kongo Kane.With Keynes Woods running through the corridors of this abandoned building, he takes a breather, and begins performing, before we notice a second, bare-chested&nbsp;Keynes - a more playful, manic version. The work becomes a series of stylish set-pieces in a weird game of cat and mouse, showcasing the rapper's assured presence in both his guises. And Tierney increasingly employs a simple yet highly effective visual device, where the original Keynes's movement&nbsp;trips the lighting of a room between red and blue.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;With fabulous cinematography by Joel Honeywell,&nbsp;the use of composition and colour make this a properly cinematic experience, steeped in the atmosphere of horror, but confidently veering into comedy and the surreal. A hell of a ride.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Co-starring French artist and ballerina Victoria Dauberville, the visual is a whirlwind trip into the Uncanny Valley, with haunting undercurrents and a more than slightly creepy atmosphere.The story reflects our image-obsessed society, allowing us to glitch and transform our bodies on a whim. In a first-of-its-kind, this&nbsp;form of artificial intelligence&nbsp;- most widely associated with fake news and revenge porn -&nbsp;has provided a unique opportunity for an emerging musician."Sad + Boring is about being stuck in a relationship that’s slowly diminishing you and your personality," says Isserman. "I thought celebrity deepfakes provided a great metaphor for this desire to be loved at all costs, and actually was surprised it’s not yet been explored in this way."

A group of soldiers are trapped in a harrowing version of Groundhog Day in Luke Tierney's creative video for Black Square's Coral Blues.&nbsp;The visual opens with several injured soldiers&nbsp;on their knees, wounded and exhausted. A well-dressed woman adorns one of the men with a necklace, but when she tries to do the same to the leader of the group, he lashes out in&nbsp;a violent rage. This scene repeats with different reactions, but one thing's for sure - it isn't going to stop anytime soon.&nbsp;Balancing trippy steadicam shots and a clever use of VFX, Tierney creates an authentic and believable world which is as haunting as it is aesthetically beautiful. The church location adds an onimous and cinematic sensibility, the delapidated rooms and scattered papers mirroring the theme of time going by uncontrollably.&nbsp;

The loneliness of life on the road is explored in&nbsp;Zhang + Knight's latest labour of love&nbsp;for Eden.Transporting a decaying plane across country on the back of a HGV, an ageing&nbsp;truck driver has more than enough time to meditate on his life and work. Location after location, the appeal of travelling has obviously faded as the driver looks for any distractions in the monotonous journey. The small things, such as new trails in the sky from a plane, or the animals running in front of the van on the road are given prime focus, the only novelty in the miles of countryside and terrain.&nbsp;Finishing off the journey at a scrap yard, the use of shots from inside the plane represent the idea that the vehicle has seen its heyday, and like every journey, this one has come to an end. Shot in&nbsp;Kazakhstan for 5 days on 35mm, the visuals are&nbsp;breathtaking and beautifully composed, giving the concept a charming yet wistful vibe.

The human race's symbiotic relationship with nature is explored in AG Rojas' video for Naeem.&nbsp;Exploring the potential of intergenerational healing, the complex and mysterious video - Bon Iver's first live action visual in seven years- focuses on two sets of family members who each encounter a floating rock in the middle of a road. A Father sets his dying adult son in front of this rock, and a Mother encourages it to open up the next day to provide water to cleanse her baby son.&nbsp;Intentionally ambiguous, Naeem is full of symbolism with reference to religion, femininity and intergenerational trauma, and each viewer's perception of the events will no doubt be informed by their life experience. Touching upon powerful and important ideas, the video meditates on the state of our planet and people, and the cycle of life and death that every living being encounters throughout our shared journeys. The word Naeem can be translated as "happiness" or "comfort", suggesting a return to a peaceful existence, the status quo of our earliest ancestors.&nbsp;The power of change and potential for peace is the message we are encouraged to take away from this project, and the importance of questioning life at every corner to ensure we are acting in a way that is mutually beneficial to both the universe and to ourselves.&nbsp;

Eden is vaporwave-dreaming in Projector, the latest video for the artist directed by Zhang + Knight.&nbsp;Opening in a beautiful, minimalist apartment, a slow camera movement reveals the artist sitting on a bed, washed in a rainbow of warm light. Jumping up&nbsp;and into the next room, the space is a maze of pastel colour, open plan architecture and vaporwave inspired design.As he leaves the building, the surreal sky envelopes Eden, encouraging him to move in a trance-like state, exploring the limitations of the environment and his own body.&nbsp;The space feels very much alive and almost like a character in itself, and the laser sharp focus on design and aesthetic is a perfect pairing to the track. Soft and dreamy, Zhang + Knight have created a universe that is calm and meditative, and Eden is a worthy inhabitant of that space.&nbsp;

Frozen moments capture an instance of unknown trauma in Isaac Ravishankara's super video for Active Child.“At its core All Eyes On You, is a devotional piece for companionship," says Active Child about the song. "A testament to one's sacrifice in the pursuit of love, even if becomes unhealthy. There’s a beauty in the submission of self to someone else in hopes of creating a pure partnership in life.”The camerawork is the star of the show in Ravishankara's take on the song, with&nbsp;long, fluid takes that feel&nbsp;like an out of body experience. The camera explores&nbsp;the space around our characters, as they are stuck in freeze-frame in different situations. The visual effects work here is seamless, and the slow unravelling of the narrative fits perfectly with the stylistic cinematography choices.Performers&nbsp;Reshma Gajjar and Larkin Poynton are both very strong, and you will struggle to take your eyes off of them as you start to hypothesise about what could be going on. It's a question that you might still be left with at the end, but this project is ripe for repeat viewings, so you have more than enough opportunity to think of your own theories.&nbsp;
