It's a clash of two music video titans, as (for the first time) Lenny Kravitz and Joseph Kahn unite in the dazzling promo for Human. The video for Kravitz's latest track is a bold, high-concept affair, evoking Kahn's big-budget, effects-heavy visuals of the Noughties. As the track begins, we see people's distractions - mobile phones, headphones etc - get snatched away by a mysterious force, drawn to a big rig where the eternally youthful Lenny and his band perform. From there, there's plenty of VFX trickery as people float up into the air, melt into the atmosphere and dance along to the music - all whilst wearing big smiles on their faces. A feelgood video for a feelgood anthem, and an iconic meeting of two industry heavyweights. And definitely too awesome just to watch on your phone...

Directing duo The Rest channel serious Nineties vibes in their sweet and breezy promo for Mahalia's delightful Whenever You're Ready.The video - shot entirely on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Series phone - flips the script on the lyrics, reintrepreting the love interest as a friend who has grown detached from her group. It takes a heart-to-heart chat on the phone to get the fourth member of Team Mahalia to get back in the gang Paying homage to iconic videos from her youth, Mahalia exudes zesty, laidback energy and plenty of confidence to boot, ably supported by her girlfriends - Taitlyn and Kaylee Jaiy, and Demi Rox - whilst the effervescent visual is absorbingly nostalgic throughout.

Brock Neal Roberts directs an emotionally affecting video for Berwyn's Trap Phone. The song is about two individuals, one inside the bubble and one outside of it, and the trap phone is the only point of contact between the two. Exploring this idea of distant love, the concept shows the artist spending a lot of time making one-way calls, reaching out to someone who won't reciprocate the contact. In a haze of everyday moments spent with friends, the loss of this relationship becomes existential, questioning what love and life is from a human perspective.A rap break at the half-way mark adds a poignancy to the project, and the unbroken, almost one-minute long shot that complements this section is incredibly powerful. With a distinct visual style and otherwordly aesthetic - care of DoP Spike Morris - the video is a beautiful interpretation of the lyrics. Trap Phone was shot all over Romford with Berwyn's friends and at places that hold a special significance for the artist.
