Ben Cole directs a transcendent promo for singer songwriter Aidan's We Hug We Sway. We see the artist perform in an abyss-like studio, posed on a rotating platform with a bare-bellied pregnant woman (Georgia Amodu Curtis) who masterfully wields several different martial arts weapons.Artfully composed and leaning into a heavily abstract, illusory aesthetic, the video is a mesmerising watch. Sam E H Hooper's filmic, enigmatic cinematography works in beautiful synchronicity with Cole's quick-cut edit and stylistic direction.

A stylish and summery showcase for Jo Hill by Jackson Gyori, bursting with colour and flowers, for Honeymoon.Gyori gives the singer-songwriter from Cheddar a touch of Southern California to match the mood of the song, maintaining a mellow but upbeat feel from studio-shot interiors filled with flowers, to wide open spaces brimming with wild blooms. DoP Simon Van Parijs's work lends a cinematic sensibility that brings everything together.

Three bank-robbing brides take on the world, in Chris Kirtley's latest video for The Pale White. The video for That Dress hits numerous marks of an iconic bank heist film - shot in sumptuous widescreen by DoP Curt Taylor in locations around Newcastle-upon-Tyne - with a few notable execeptions: the perpetrators are three brides in face masks, wielding bouquets of flowers instead of guns. That still gets a trio of police's armed response unit on their tales. And with the brides ultimately leading the cops into a church and, yes, up the aisle, the video builds to an unexpected and satisfying crescendo. This highly entertaining visual for That Dress follows Kirtley's previous video for the threepiece from Newcastle, for Glue. Excellent work.

Lewis Cater directs a warm, romantic and aesthetically-driven video for Welsh quartet Holding Absence.Blanketed in a wide array of flowers and plants, the band perform latest track Afterlife, emanating an ethereal and intimate vibe. The use of still image intermixed with the footage adds an extra level of impact, freezing moments in time to help the concept unwind in an organic way. Beautifully shot and realised, Cater captures the essence of the group, whilst stamping his own trademark style on the project.

Grant Taylor and Kashman Harris challenge society's stereotypes in this brilliant video for Aaron Taylor. Aptly titled Flowers, the video juxtaposes media fearmongering with softer, more delicate portraits of black men, lamenting the quote in the opening scene. The directors capture a real sense of joy and poignancy in the performance, and art director Elena Muntoni does a top-notch job in decorating the space with hundreds upon hundreds of flowers and petals. Striking, affecting and important work.

NY-based fashion photographer and director Sarah McColgan has delivered Little Mix's Love Me Like You, a cheesy but amusing video set in an American high-school Fall homecoming dance.It sees bandmembers Jade, Perrie, Leigh-Anne, and Jesy falling for the same hunky guy, who gives each of them a corsage as a symbolic promise to be their date for the evening. Not so much a two-timer as a four-timer - and they all end up disappointed.The message of this tale of woe? Don't trust the good looking ones...
