Evan Lawday directs an intriguing, dreamlike performance promo for London-based 'alternative/celestial folk' duo Pet Deaths. The video for Love Has Won is a grainy fever dream, shot in a moonlit park with just a torch strapped atop a DSLR. In a world of faceless crooners, porcelain trinkets, and unrefined imagery, we navigate Pet Death's bizarre performance, which falls somewhere between televangelist preachers, sleazy 70’s Lotharios and drunk uncles at a wedding. The video dances between frantic, unrefined shots captured in the heat of the performance and stark, controlled shots of the porcelain bird that appears to loom large over this void-like space the band are trapped in.Immediately haunting and impactful, the video has a nightmarish yet comfortably trippy aesthetic, which is heightened by the effervescent cinematography. Aidan Zamiri's second video for Tiberius b takes their vibrant persona to the streets, with the Welsh singer-songwriter demonstrating a decidedly unique method of transportation. Following the eye-catching Jetski video, where their energetic display was interrupted by a flock of pigeons inside their flat, this one has the artist on London's late night streets, performing HHB under the golden haze of streetlights and distant fluorescents.Until stopping to relieve themselves. And then after peering into the resulting yellow puddle, Tiberius b takes a dive... emerging into a public fountain.This iconoclastic device allows Zamiri moves the action from one vignette to the next. It also brings the video the director's characteristic visual flair and cheeky wit to the fore.And it shows again Tiberius b's willingness to explore concepts that would definitely deter others - whether it's getting up close and personal with bodily fluids or being on the receiving end of pigeon poo...

Hugh Mulhern directs a surreal performance promo for Fontaines D.C.In the video for Skinty Fia - which takes its namesake from the group's upcoming third LP - we see vocalist Grian Chatten in the middle of a hedonistic celebration, trapped among a cast of eccentric characters, bizarre rituals and an overflowing sense of excess. The video opens with an oscillating multicoloured light darting through empty fields and into an enigmatic building, before the concept distorts into a haunting series of warped vignettes. The dreamlike aesthetic is grounded by Chatten's calm and collected attitude, which contrasts the disorder and chaos around him. In the same vein as the other video releases from this album, the concept transcends the performance and morphs into something otherworldly and uncanny, and perfectly fits the unusual atmosphere in the song.
