Ryan Doubiago's mesmerising video for J.Cole is a continuous tracking shot where we see the rapper's life unfold in reverse.  

The video for The Fall Off Is Inevitable begins in the present, wih the rapper reflecting upon his life up to this point (it follows a message from J.Cole that flashes briefly on-screen), and then travelling backwards through version of the same room, through the milestones of his life.

During the course of this journey through the carefuly composed portraits of life in this single space, Doubiago adds another level by using the room device to alter perspective, and play with the viewer's perceptions. It's a Gondry-esque twist to what is already a beautifully executed technical feat.
