Mika 'Immortal Love' by Nick Bartleet
Rob Ulitski - 7th Jan 2026
Mika continues to explore the drudgery of modern life, finding a novel use for the photocopier in Nick Bartleet's intriguing office-based promo.
It's an interesting setting for the irrepressible singer-songwriter, who makes a highly unlikely office drone. But Bartleet's video for Immortal Love conjures the same eery corporate liminality as shows such as Severance, with an absorbing, anachronistic vibe.Â
And Mika has his own way of disrupting the tedium of the drab office setting, with that photocopier, building a rotating factory line of clones, creating his own version of immortality as he does so.Â
