In Fleming Mason and Oliver Michael Bacon's stylish video for Coldvein, a car speeds through a country road through woods at night, before the occupants find themselves waking in the forest.

Mason and Bacon have devised a richly atmospheric and spooky tale for the unorthodox rap/electronica of Forum, Krakow, that combines well constructed and economic storytelling with a strong visual style.

As the couple find each other, their journey through the forest is captured in one impressively composed and spotlit wideshot. Then their true fate is revealed in the same piercing light through the darkness, a look that's evocative of Nineties electronic videos.

A ghost story that matches the mystery in the track, and delivers a gut-punch ending. A very promising debut for this new directing team.
