The musician, aka Michael Alden Hadreas, and Critcheloe - aka audiovisual artist SSION - have devised a surreal melodrama that alludes to childhood trauma and its psychological impact.

This is audacious in the manner that it confronts a serious issue - but then, it is all about confronting a serious issue. Very powerful.
