Vladislav Motorichev 'The Ode On Cure' by Vladislav Motorichev
Rob Ulitski - 25th Oct 2023
An artist is forced on a journey through his body and mind, in Vladislav Motorichev's experimental music film The Ode on Cure.
Inspired by and dedicated to Swiss sculptor and painter Alberto Giacometti, the visceral visual is an experimental and confronting piece, set to an incredible score and sound design (from Dmytro Makliakow and Maximilian Feig, respectively).
Spanning ten minutes of surreal, haunting set pieces, the film transcends its structure and becomes a dreamlike montage, leaving plenty of questions out in the open for viewers to ponder.
