Joonas collaborates with directors Philip Reinking and Thomas James Linton to create this studio-based performance video for his song Psycho Ex-Boyfriend. It's an irreverent and imaginative staging to echo the melodrama in a song that came to life out of the painful experience of isolation and loneliness.  

"Psycho Ex-Boyfriend makes you feel like the villain and the main character at the same time," says Joonas - aka Jonas Robstad, who also produced and art directed the video. "With its retro disco-inspired synth pop sound and imagery it sits perfectly between the commercial and the crazy.

"The song was written in a moment of insanity caused by being isolated in the mountains of Norway, and together with the video it reflects upon how far you'd go for someone you love. The concept for the video was created by three young very passionate artists who wanted to create without thinking about how it was going to be received. This is free expression in a pure form and we are extremely excited about it."
