Kevin Hudson directs a playful promo inspired by 1994 classic The Mask, in his promo for V9's Change - executive produced by Luke Biggins, one of his last projects before he died. 

Taking inspiration from various scenes in Jim Carrey's breakthrough movie, Hudson lends a contemporary twist to the narrative, placing the artist in the centre of a heist concept in the same iconic outfit and cartoonish aesthetic. 

The video doesn't cross too far into parody, instead containing enough references for audiences of the original film to enjoy. Even as a standalone, its a very entertaining watch indeed.

Hudson says that The Mask was one of his favourite movies when he was growing up. "I went back and watched the entire film before doing the treatment, just to make sure I did it justice," he says. 

"My plan was to recreate key scenes in the film, so anyone watching can see the correlation, whilst still giving us the performances expected within a music video. Huge thank you to Luke Biggins who helped bring this all together."
