Willow Kayne 'Two Seater' by Milo Blake
Rob Ulitski - 19th May 2021
Willow Kayne inhabits an otherwordly jewellers in Milo Blake's surreal promo for Two Seater.
Inside the burnt orange and neon blue setting, a world of unique characters check out the goods, whilst Kayne delivers a killer performance packed full of attitude and laidback vibes.
Immensely textural and vibrant, DoP Rhys Warren embraces a sense of absurdity whilst keeping things contemporary and cool, elevating the concept to a place that feels artistic and abstract.
MILO BLAKE:
The jewellery shop was intended to be a world within a world...
"The world of the video was devised with the goal of trying to fuse together something that combines the strong dreamy colour palette of a film like Amelie with the physical textures and characters of a film like Uncut Gems.
"The jewellery shop was intended to be a world within a world, and actually closer to a realisation of a jewellery shop on Mars rather then Earth. We felt like this bold look and range of characters, slightly caricature would compliment well with with braggadocious swagger of Willow and the track."
