Art School Girlfriend is transported to a laser-lit fantasy in regular collaborator Tom Dream's promo for In The Middle. 

Shot on 16mm, the video explores ideas of isolation and intimacy, through colourful snapshots of youth and movement. 

Starting with a simple red laser mirage on a wall, the artist - real name Polly Mackey - soon enters a coruscating world of beams, strobes and neon light, lost in the magical euphoria of the concept. 

Beautifully shot by DoP David Wright, it's a perfect complement to the Margate-based artist's unique blend of electronica.
