Bamao Yendé & Le Diouck 'Marvin Gueye' by Vincent Catel
Promonews - 1st Feb 2021
Vincent Catel makes his music video directing debut with a love story told in a series of beautifully composed moments for Paris-based producer Bamao Yendé and singer Le Diouck.
Catel's video for Marvin Gueye follows the emotional life of a young couple, with their intimate life captured in wonderfully crafted sequences. Through Benoit Soler's cinematography, Catel employs a striking use of colour and light, together with the couple's performances, to convey a warm and sensual atmosphere.
It's a notable debut from Catel, former creative director at Iconoclast Paris who worked on campaigns for Hermès, Dior, Paco Rabanne and Chloé, and music videos for The Blaze, before joining Diplomats in Paris to expand his artistic vision as a director.
