Nothing But Thieves 'Impossible' by Elliott Gonzo
With the big bad dogs closing in, Nothing But Thieves' frontman Conor Mason begins a daring act of escapology, in Elliot Gonzo's video for Impossible, inspired by the exploits of Harry Houdini.
From being strapped and helpless in a straitjacket on a beach, reality twists as Mason is suddenly plunged into deep water manacled and chained to a rock.
This sort of suspense never gets old, and the singer's Houdini-esque escape act is well presented here in a riveting accompaniment to the swell of emotion in Impossible. And Mason even manages to some sub-aqua lipsync.
