Pentatonix 'Happy Now' by Alon Isocianu
Promonews - 24th Aug 2020
For their first original song in five years, Alon Isociano's video for Pentatonix's Happy Now captures bandmembers Scott, Mitch, Kirstin, Kevin and Matt in striking noir-inspired black & white portraits. At least that is how it begins.
The song is all about new beginnings and about rediscovering happiness - about transformation - and as the video progresses, shafts of light illuminate the space and the band. Lensed by Jon Chema, the positivity of the video is reflected in how the light also brings vibrant colour.
Each situation transforms from cold, empty environments, to a space full of lush green foliage and flowers, as Isocianu reflects the relentlessly upbeat Happy Now by creating a hyper-saturated and hyper-stylized world of positivity and happiness.Â
