A journey of self discovery helps repair a fractured relationship in Bjorn Franklin and Johnny Marchetta's video for Gabrielle Aplin and Nina Nesbitt's team up on Miss You 2.
Nick Wilson 'Enough To Know You' by Bjorn Franklin & Johnny Marchetta
Bjorn Franklin and Johnny Marchetta explore the final moments of a shot down WWII RAF pilot, in their video for Nick Wilson.
Effectively filmed in one-shot, the poignant concept for Enough To Know You is entirely focussed upon one soldier's desperate efforts to grasp onto life, backdropped against a haunting, desolate beach.
With an outstanding performance from actor Will Fletcher, the video is a memorable and emotionally affecting snapshot of war and the horrors it inflicts on humanity.
BJORN FRANKLIN & JOHNNY MARCHETTA:
Will came to set ready to give this as much authenticity as he possibly could.
"When writing treatments for videos, we always like to look to some of our favourite films to use as sparks of inspiration. Sam Mendes is one of the greatest directors out there, so after watching 1917 both of us felt compelled to use this is a through line of inspiration for the visuals for Nick's song.
"We knew wanted to approach this as a character study. It was just a case of finding the right world and landscape to set it against. Will Fletcher, our actor, completely committed himself to this role and left no stone unturned when doing the work before the shoot. He came to set totally ready to be immersed in the story and give this as much authenticity as he possibly could.
"Our film is our take on the heart and theme of the song, letting go and acceptance. A widely universal topic."
