Henry Oliver warps our everyday experience with technology in the latest entertaining outing by Big Heath, and his pal Kelvyn Colt.

TThe action takes place entirely on the screen of a Mac computer, with the VFX-heavy visual featuring playful performances by Heath and Kelvyn, intertwined with lockdown routines and clever camera trickery.  

Laidback in its content yet technically complex, Justin Du Pré's smooth visual effects help each of the shots transition in a subtle and engaging way.

[The Mac] seemed like the perfect setting for a quarantine video as I imagine it's where most people have been spending their time. 

“With this video I aimed to turn something everyone was familiar with (Apple Mac) and play with it in an unfamiliar way. It seemed like the perfect setting for a quarantine video as I imagine it's where most people have been spending their time. 

"Once I’d created an animatic for the whole video I sent it over to my fantastic VFX artist Justin Du Pré, who was able to get to work with a clear view on the concept and the video’s structure. As he developed the video, I began creating the assets and working closely (not literally) with the artists to get the required footage.

"I created a shotlist for both artists to follow and had countless Zoom calls to ensure they knew what was needed of them. All in all the project took two weeks from concept to completion, which considering the circumstances was quite surprising.”
