Lous And The Yakuza 'Solo' by Wendy Morgan & Kevin Bago
Wendy Morgan's third video for the Brussels-based artist Lous and The Yakuza - this time co-directed with Kevin Bago - sees Lous dancing alone around an empty studio while performing, appropriately enough, Solo.
The choreography is a reflection of the song's core message, switching between graceful movement to something far more urgent. "I wrote this song thinking about the loneliness that all my people, Black people, still have to face because of the hate we received and (are) still receiving," she wrote in an Instagram caption. "We still gotta fight to be heard and that's a fucking shame."
