Mr Yankey has created a fantastical and fairly lockdown-appropriate showcase for Mikill Pane and MRTL's reflections on their pronounced MC styles in My Legacy.

In his second video for Pane - following last year's Night Elm on Mare Street - Yankey employs stop-frame animation of photos to place the pair within real-world Hackney, giving Mikill an adventure with ruffians and a chasing dog. It's a fun and stylised way to add a cartoonish touch to gritty London life - which then turns cosmic when vocalist Micky Blue provides the harmonic break.

Says Yankey: "The aim is to maintain a truth about the area that cultivated Mikill and MRTL’s pronounced MC styles, while mixing in fantastical and cosmic visuals showing the potential the streets of Hackney hold and how this tangible reality can be transformed and manifest into your aspirations and dreams."
