Paco Raterta directs a characteristically tense and gripping visual for Duke Dumont's The Power - featuring Jasmin Curtis Smith as a girl struggling to break from a violent cult-like group.

Shot in Raterta's native Philippines, the superb camerawork, by DoP Ja Tadena, establishes a suffocating sense of dread around Smith and her feisty girl friend as they rebel against the cult over three acts - The Pain, The Truth, and then crescendoing to the dramatic conclusion in The Power.
