With a background in features and TV, Anthony Byrne makes a seamless transition to promos with an unashamedly romantic music video for the honey-voiced Rumer's Dangerous.
Hozier 'Dinner & Diatribes' by Anthony Byrne
Anthony Byrne's intense video for Hozier draws us into the depths of a bizarre and disfunctional relationship, that takes place at a eery Gothic dinner party.
With a very creepy leading man (played by Hozier himself) having psychological control over his female dinner guest, a cycle of obsessive love, control and hysteria plays out - with a gruesome, fiery climax.
It's a mesmerising psychological drama, with elements of dance, in which the tension between the pair is ratcheted up in Chris Roebuck's masterly edit.
