Liam Bailey 'You Saw The Devil In Me' by James Beale
As the sun rises, Liam Bailey gives a heartfelt performance of a song that confronts the issues of self-hate and rebirth, in another collaboration with James Beale.
"This time I had some things to write about," says Bailey. "The idea of not being self-confident, not being able to look in the mirror and so on. So instead of hiding myself I wrote about those things, based on me looking in the mirror and writing while I was looking in the mirror."
"Liam and I wanted to create something that reflected this introspection," adds James Beale. "We wanted light and dark. A moment alone where your mind goes over and over. Almost lost in the scale of everything else. But also including hope in the form of a new day. A simple visual that elevates the words."
