Kareem Kalokoh 'Rambo' by Leonn Ward
Not too many hip hop videos take a half time break to interview the rapper's mum, but that's what you get in Leonn Ward's video for Kareem Kalokoh and his instantly catchy track, Rambo.
It's Ward's background in fashion film that gives her hip hop video debut its freshness. She bonded with Kareem on the subject of style, and with his strong personal stuyle, the video for Rambo is a blend of the director and artist, in a relatively unusual setting.
It was shot in Athens, home turf of the Ath Kids collective of which Kalokoh is a leading light, andn which has been credited for putting the Greek music scene on the map.
