Let's Eat Grandma 'Hot Pink' by Balan Evans
David Knight - 15th Mar 2018
Rosa and Jenny of Let's Eat Grandma wander through a digitally-drenched pink world in Balan Evans' video for Hot Pink.
Buildings stretch and pull - a kind of conincidental lo-fi version of the VFX in Spike Jonze and Fka Twigs' Apple blockbuster Welcome Home – as people wander into their phones and the world steadily glitches out.
A suitably strange, arresting and cool treatment from Evans, who's previous work includes Behind Sliding Doors, about the making of London band Flyte's debut album The Loved Ones.
