Silent Tapes summon a woodland performance video for Paradisia.
Mahalia ft. Little Simz 'Proud Of Me' by Silent Tapes
Directing duo Silent Tapes' video for Mahalia's Proud Of Me is an uplifting moment of recognition for all the people who have your back.
The viewer is welcomed to Mahalia's safe space, introduced to her friends, her home and neighbourhood - she comes from Birmingham – as she sings about her musical journey and thanks them all for their support along the way.
"We wanted to capture Mahalia in environments that were authentic to her upbringing, surrounded by people that mean the most to her, sharing a level of vulnerability and intimacy that her fans hadn't yet seen before.
"Including voice-over was the most important element for us, as we wanted to really delve into her personal thoughts and be able to share those rare and unspoken moments with the viewer, in an all-encompassing and honest portrait of Mahalia."
