Pale Waves 'Television Romance' by Matty Healy
The 1975's Matty Healy makes his music video directing debut for Pale Waves, a band he knows a lot about – he also produced their first album.
He clearly rates them as a performing outfit (and they have supported The 1975 on tour this year) as this a straight-ahead performance video – albeit one shot in a flat in a tower block in Manchester, the band's hometown. It also looks great in a classically cinematic way, courtesy of Callan Green's photography.
