Southam's mind-bending psychedelic mixed media work incorporates a vast spectrum of impending doom (via skulls, pills, and explosions) and cuts that with archival footage of fun, the universe and geometric shapes. The end result is a carefully composed celebration of life in all its many forms, enshrouded in a retro-futuristic aesthetic.
