Emilie Norenberg tells the story of a woman coming to terms with the end of her marriage in this tragi-comic video for Billie Van.
Billie Van 'Bitter' by Emilie Norenberg
Firstly there was I'm Totally Fine With It, where we witnessed Norwegian alt-pop singer Billie Van's remarkable stoic acceptance of the fact her marriage to a sleazy philanderer was coming to an end. But now she's changed her mind. She's Bitter.
Emilie Norenberg's second Billie Van video begins with the newly empowered Billie recruiting a biker gang - well, a motorcross bike gang - to kidnap her feckless ex, so she can exact suitable revenge. What transpires is compelling, without being exactly dramatic. The new Billie queens over a rich assortment of characters and delivers the bozo she married his comeuppance. Well, sort of.
It's a hoot, so let's hope that Billie V and Emilie N have another chapter planned and ready to go.
