Chase & Status ft Blossoms 'This Moment' by Joshua Osborne
Joshua Osborne's promo for Chase and Status is a moving and intimate portrait of a young traveller and his family.
Osborne and the video's protagonist Gary Hearne first met in 2014 in a South London boxing gym, and Hearne and his family subsequently became part of a documentary series about modern culture in the traveling community. Three years on, with Hearne now 19 and starting a family of his own, sees Osborne revisit him in this documentary portrait film. Hearne cuddles with his newborn, boxes at the gym and hangs out with friends.
He's candid and unguarded which combined with the beautifully composed, slow-moving camera movements adds an element of hyperrealism to the clip. It's a moving and rare portrait of an overlooked and often vilified community.
