Matthew Firpo's clip for H Block Ink is a Tokyo love story with a technological twist.
Michiko and Kazu are friends on their last night together in Tokyo. After one of them downloads an exclusive new app that makes strangers fall in love, they begin a night of mischief and matchmaking, of course discovering something about themselves along the way.
The video is a fantastic display of the bright, colourful Tokyo cityscape, made even better by the VFX work that keeps the often troubling technological side of the narrative visually engaging.
