Mastodon 'Show Yourself' by Robert Schober
Robert Schober's brilliant video for Mastodon is a horror B-movie pastiche, and an ode to anybody who's ever had a bad week at work.
The tongue-in-cheek clip charts the downfall of the Grim Reaper himself, as he tries (and fails) to kill the members of Mastodon one by one. We're treated to a throwback, nuclear family, corporate jungle view of the world with a nice reference to Alec Baldwin's turn in Glengarry Glen Ross thrown in for good measure.
A great stylistic turn by the director formerly known as Roboschobo, who manages to make you root for the guy who's trying to kill the band.
