Mikhael Paskalev confronts Death with dance, in his brilliant short film and music video for Witness.

It starts out on a very sombre note, with Death (in his least intimidating form, played by Joe Wills, who co-directed this with Paskalev and DoP Jasper Spanning) taking a short questionnaire before taking Mikhael's life. The tables quickly turn when Mikhael asks Death if he can show him something. From there, they enter a room with a drained swimming pool, wherein Mikhael, dressed to the nines, dances in an ever-evolving, slightly erratic style.

And eventually, Death finds himself joining in on the routine. A wonderful piece of narrative and choreography combined into a polished and artful video.
