Cat Velez - 13th Sept 2016
Mick Jenkins plays the role of a man who has escaped slavery in this poignant, dramatic video for his song Drowning, directed by Nathan R. Smith.
Stunningly shot by Matt Mitchell, we follow him as he is brutalised by violent men, before being plunged into the depths of a lake. Escaping on a little raft, he manages to find and save his fellow brothers and sisters drowning in the river. Arriving at the end of his journey, he is faced with the ultimate moral dilemma when deciding what fate to bestow upon his enslavers...
