Lavinia Noel has directed Geko’s single ‘Y’ ft. Afro B in one of Europe’s most notorious ghettos. Cova Da Moura in Lisbon is known to be an Andalusian favelas, with great similarities to those in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janiero in Brazil, and the video captures the energy of the place, the architecture and street art, and the vibrant good nature of the people.

And although Geko hails from Manchester, his connection to the people of Cova Da Moura is clear. Lavinia Noel says on hearing the track and instantly loving it, "I wanted to create a visual staying true to Geko’s identity but wanted to shoot somewhere with energy, where the people and surroundings told a story to the audience in itself.

"Working with great artists like Geko and Afro B and such a dedicated crew as well as exploring the people and area of Cova Da Moura made this an unforgettable experience!”
