Emil Nava has shot Selena Gomez's new music video Kill ‘Em With Kindness – from her new album Revival - on 16mm film, uniting a bold, black and white look tempered by Gomez's effortless beauty and poise.

It's a glamour piece that is slightly rough around the edges, literally, when Nava chooses to track out of the makeshift studio to reveal lighting setups in various luxurious locations. Flashes of film abrasions, jolted lighting, and dramatic cut-aways to maltreated roses also add to the mood, which eventually peaks as street dancers step onto set...
