Laura Marling 'Gurdjieff's Daughter' by Max Knight & Chris Perkel
Cat Velez - 8th Apr 2015
Laura Marling's video for Gurdjieff's Daughter is as quaint as the track itself. The video was shot in one take, conceived and planned in 24 hours by Max Knight and Chris Perkel. It serves up a humorous slice of California life with Laura depicted as irritatingly upbeat, dispensing unsolicited advice to her uninterested friends.
Charmingly though, Marling appears oblivious to their reactions, moving quickly from one friend to the next. She's a ball of energy, and the video is a fascinating insight into the world of Laura Marling.Â
